Harvest Festival Collection

Kensington Wade families donated a huge amount of food as part of our Harvest Festival celebrations. This was collected this afternoon by The Trussell Trust who will distribute it to local families. Happy half term everyone!

Kensington Wade pupils are transported to outer space!

As part of our Space Week celebrations, we were visited by Wonderdome on Wednesday – a mobile planetarium. All children had the opportunity to have a session inside the dome and loved being transported to to outer space!

Recent netball and football fixtures

We have had a number of fixtures recently against other local schools. On Monday 26th September, Year 3 and 4 played netball against Falcons School for Girls. This week Kensington Wade have been celebrating Black History Month. On Monday each class participated in different workshops from Perform for Schools – the lower year groups learnt about African animals and learnt a special African chant. Reception’s Forest School Adventures

Reception are enjoying their weekly trip to Forest School. In week 1 children learnt about forest safety and the different plants and animals that live in the forest.
