Year 2 are Super Scientists themselves

As part of their Super Scientist topic, Year 2 have been learning about famous scientists. They have learnt about the experiments of Isaac Newton and carried out their own experiments inspired by him to discover that light refracts into seven different colours.

They have also learnt about Maggie Aderin-Pocock’s studies on wind to help prevent climate change. They were inspired to carefully follow a procedure to make and test their own wind vanes. Great work Year 2!
